A drive to Thingvellir National Park. This is a sight which is highly interesting from both geological and historical point of view. In Thingvellir you can see the effects of the tectonic plate movements which have opened various cracks and fissures in the earth crust and it was in Thingvellir that the Icelandic Parliament was founded in the 10th century. Then we will continue and explore the hidden world of the lava field between Thingvellir and Lake Laugarvatn. Walking in a cave and discovering the marvels that volcanic activity has created in the past is a trip that everyone can undertake. The Gjábakkahellir cave is a perfect example of an Icelandic lava tube and is situated in one of the most active volcanic areas in the world. We climb, crawl and walk on our travel beneath the surface. No knowledge of the sport required.
