Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik was the first place of permanent settlement in Iceland in the 9th century. However it was not until the 18th and 19th centuries that urbanization slowly started in the area. Reykjavik is therefore a very young city, with today approximately 120.000 inhabitants. To get to know the city a little better, we visit its main sights such as the old city centre where we see the Lake and the Town Hall, the Parliament and the Harbour. We also visit Hallgrimskirkja Church and the Perlan Dome. At the end of the tour, we stop at the National Museum.
Duration: 2,5 hours.
